Oh y'all poor things, with the flu! Hope you feel better soon.
Newt, I've had good success inside my truck by putting open containers of a little water with a few drops of peppermint oil in each container. It smells pretty strong in there but it isn't as bad as the smell of mice! I have to refresh the mint oil about every three days though, or else the mice will start to show up again.
