You weren't being pecked apart. Just saying that Belle and Shawn-D weren't ever "almost cousins".
 
Shawn may not be a blood Brady but if Colleen and Santo mingled creating what they thought was John in 2008 not today in 2016, then yes technically they were almost cousins.
 
But not biologically, since Bo is not a biological Brady.

Belle's dad and Bo's sister are half brother and sister.
 
Belle's dad and Bo's sister are not half brother and sister.

Belle's dad is John Black. Bo's half-sister was Isabella. John and Isabella were not blood related, they were husband and wife. Bo's other two half-sisters are Kim and Kayla, neither of whom is biologically related to John Black.

Isabella and Belle shared absolutely NO blood between them. To Belle, Isabella is merely her dad's dead wife (who she was named after) and her half-brother's dead mother.

And to reiterate what I said in my original post, Belle's parents are John and Marlena.

Shawn's parents are Bo and Hope.

John and Marlena are not biologically related in any manner to Bo and/or Hope.

Even when John was thought to be Colleen Brady's son, that still didn't make them related since Bo was not Pop-Shawn Brady's biological son.
