BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Bill Hayes, star of many musicals throughout the 1950s, playing leading man to stars such as Shirley Jones, Florence Henderson, and Carol Lawrence, has passed away at the age of 98.

Thank you for posting all the stories and videos, Kat.
Days has lost so many over just a few years. No matter how senior a person is, it does not take away from the loss their loves ones and adoring fans feel.
My deepest condolences to Susan, their entire family, and all their friends.
We on this board, and all fans around the world, will never forget the memorable character he created and all the joy he brought to everyone.
Rest In Peace, Mr. Hayes. We will miss you.
