Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe) had her baby in beginning of May. She went on maternity leave in April. She is on contract, should be back filming again, if not already. She may have even filmed some scenes (as Alison Sweeney/Sami did) so the maternity leave would not be too apparent. So, at the most, she was away from Days 6-8 weeks.

Doesn't anyone on this program use birth control?

It would be nice, in my opinion, for a pregnancy to be wanted and go smoothly for a change. Just saying.

That goes against every rule of soap opera story telling!

Very few babies in Salem were born to parents without a cloud over their paternity, maternity or some crazy circumstance.
