Days backstage internal investigation/Updated 8/4

Days must be pretty popular in Britain for them to carry the story. Good for Days.

And meanwhile, back in the U.S., particularly the state of CA, city of L.A., nothing at all has progressed, at least not that we have been told. who knows what is going on behind the scenes, since everyone is being very tightlipped.

They were off for 3 weeks at the end of June/early July. They came back and taped the week of 7/10. They were supposed to tape the week of 7/17 but they did not. So that is not ordinary. They were also dark this week.

They should refuse to work till this pervert is fired.

Days goes dark next week, tentatively set to resume production on August 7.

Deadline reports that "Days of Our Lives", which was set to resume production on Monday, July 31 will now be making that a dark week. Production is now tentatively set to resume on Monday, August 7. Since Tuesday, when Deadline announced the results of Sony's internal investigation into Co-Executive Producer Albert Alarr's offensive workplace behavior, "Days" has since hired a new public relations firm; Arianne Zucker (Nicole) told fans to "hang tight"; and now the show is adding an additional dark week to its schedule. In a statement Corday Productions sent to Deadline on Tuesday, Alarr was still employed at "Days" as its Co-Executive Producer, sparking cast, crew and fan outrage. Deadline reports Alarr was still set to direct the episode taping on Friday, August 4, until the show shut down production for the week.

In other businesses, when something wrong is exposed, the person has tendered their resignation very quickly, in order to avoid unpleasantness for themselves and the company. Surprising that has not happened in this case. The dirty laundry continues to be spilled, so many are even more upset now. The lack of movement on the part of Corday, Sony, NBC is appalling.

I think it's going to be hard to make him leave since he's been doing it for years.
I'm glad the cast and crew are supporting each other.
