No thank you.
Right? Also kinda weird that the Salem PD sent one of its new uniforms to an assignment in CHICAGO...oy vey this show!!!Kinda weird that John didn't tell Marlena he was leaving on an assignment.. but whatever. Not like I expected them to have any sort of communication anyway.
Right. There. With. You. I officially hate Brady and want him to leave Salem forever, preferably in a body bag. Not only did his immediate assumption that Nicole had harmed his precious flower tick me off, it reminded me how at one time Melanie was a stronger character. (Even though I never liked her, they've really turned her into the idiot heroine/damsel-in-distress trope.)...... except the parts where Nicole was treated like a pariah. First Melanie (who, thankfully backed down), then Brady, who was quick to think Nicole had said something to Melanie to make her cry...
I agree. Totally. But I'll throw in that I'd rather see Justin back in town full time but then that would take away from the wonder that is the Daniel and Melanie Jonas Hour, wouldn't it?And again... I like Adrienne and Lucas. Let's see where this goes. I mean, we often complain about the disgusting pairings on this show (Kate/Rafe, JJ/Eve, Kristen/Brady, Kristen/Daniel almost hitting the sheets, etc.), this is actually a pairing that is slowly moving along, and it could be good in the long run. To say that Adrienne should not be with Lucas, to me, is sad for the character and the actress. After all, the actor playing Justin is not available most of the time, so why not give two vets more storylines ? If it means a divorce between Justin and Adrienne (whom I used to love) because Justin abandons his wife constantly, so be it. Why not ? Plus, we've also complained about Adrienne only being on to butt in on Sonny and Will's relationship. Now that there is more to her character, I for one love it. And of course, I love Lucas. So it's a win-win situation, and it's in accordance to what happens in soaps. It's the drama I expect from soaps (much better than foetus stealing or guy sleeps with his girlfriend's mother).
Odd...around here, unless otherwise directed, the names are displayed on people's doors, to make it easier for visitors to find them. You can ask to have your name hidden, though. Again, that's my area of the country and different hospitals have different methods of protecting patient information. In Salem, NONE, LOL....I had to laugh when I saw Sonny's name outside of his hospital room. I just spent 8 days in the hospital, and only my alias number was displayed in the hallway. ...
These days, it seems the only point to having Nicole appear in an episode is so that somebody can get on their morally-superior high horse and dump on her. That said, it's a good thing that sleazy Miles, Nicole's boss, doesn't know all the details of the Sonny stabbing. Otherwise, he'd be after her to write an article under the headline: "Local Club Owner Stabbed While Going to Confront Husband About Affair with Star Pitcher!!!" As for the overheated Brady and Betty Boop, their erotic contortions were certainly prime FF material, and the inclusion of their exercise in lust seemed particularly jarring when inserted into an episode that was almost entirely devoted to a near tragedy.I thought Nicole was totally pointless in this episode. Although I guess the writers figured she hadn't been beaten down nearly enough so decided to include her so she could take verbal assaults from Melanie, Brady, Victor, and Daniel.
Okay, watched it. Decent episode. But again, why didn't Nurse Maxine put the fear of Hades into Paul to lie down and stay put after he gave extra blood? We all know she's capable of it. Seems a little out of character for her, Maxine is the only competent nurse in the hospital most of the time. To leave Paul alone with a couple of Capri Suns or whatever? Not likely. And then he's free to wander the halls looking for Sonny's room...which just has Sonny's name plastered right on the door? Victor KNOWS what's up, he wouldn't have the staff sworn to secrecy at the very least?
And speaking of unsupervised...Mel and Brady...ewwwww. Thank goodness for fast forward.
