I had 2 distinct feelings about today's show

I'm with you snugapug... Bo & Carly turn my stomach.
Kudos to Suzanne and Susan today. I seldom get emotional over the show, unless to scream at the writers, but today was heartwrenching. Maybe because I also married my best friend 44 years ago, and he had a heart attack in 2007.... he's O.K. was only a calcium buildup... but scary anyway.....
 
The writers think all of us "desperate females" love to watch lust and sex and if it's a taboo, the better....they did it with Daniel and Chloe and they are doing it with Bo and Carly....I don't appreciate the insult, the slap in the face, these two s/l's represent.....I'm know I'm better than that, and I truly believe the majority of all the female viewers feel they are better than that......cause we ARE better than that.....
 
I watched it again at 5 on soapnet.. and again Suzanne was just remarkeable in her acting. My husband of 27 yrs died suddenly 2 yrs ago, and I remember being like Maggie.. sitting for 2 seconds, walking around lost.. Just like she was today. It really makes me wonder if Suzanne has lost someone really close to her, because she had it all down..

Bo and Carly looked and was just pure lust.. It is degrading to females how they played those scenes out..IMO

If you are a Stephen King fan, you need to read his book "Cell". The afterword states that Stephen King does not own a cell phone and after reading that book I'm not surprised. :)

Thanks for the reply. I just hope somebody gets that message back for Maggie!, and then get it hooked up to a computer/printer to make a hard copy to preserve it.
I'll have to check out the book by King .... I always knew there was a reason I liked him! :)
 
If Mickey still has his cell phone the message should still be on his sent message box.

Agreed. In fact, I was thinking I wasn't this disgusted with a sex scene since Daniel/ Chloe. It was tacky in my opinion. Contrary to what some may believe, my opinion has nothing to do with who was involved either. If I was forced to watch one or the other, it would not have been the pair we saw today though. :sick: I would prefer neither.

I have been teasing my east coast relatives ( I am on west) We are having warm weather while they got flurries in Fla!! :)
 
Loved the shows these last few days! Great acting by everyone. I wonder if Maggie will go back to drinking. What do you think?

I figure the group that is running Days is going to have Maggie drink...after all, "she's a woman, lost her man, is middle age, can't cope, is weak," etc. etc. etc....of course they will have her drink....
 
Unfortunately, that's what I'm thinking too...
