At Daniel’s Kristen is checking out Eric’s test results. Daniel walks back into the room and asks her what she thinks she’s doing. He says she’s breaking the law. She brushes him off. He knows she was snooping around. She claims she was just reading the letter from Jennifer. She apologizes and asks him to forgive her. She starts babbling about heartbreak, blah, blah, blah. He tries ushering her out again. Maggie shows up just as Kristen leaves. She wants to know what Kristen was doing there. He tells her she was just here to talk about Jennifer. Outside the door, Kristen emails the pictures of Eric’s test results to Dr. Chyka. She tells herself she’s almost home free. Daniel finally confronts Maggie about her blabbing to Jennifer when he confided in her about JJ. She plays the concerned mother. He says this whole thing is off limits, he and Jennifer are on a break. She immediately starts in on him but he shuts her down saying he’s not talking about it. He apologizes, knows she means well but has to handle himself. She understands but still continues with the unwanted advice. She tells him to be honest with Jennifer and talk about this. Later Parker is there with them. Daniel again looks at the paperwork on Eric saying he’s got to find the answers. He gets a call from another doctor and they discuss Eric’s case. The doctor tells him there’s nothing there. Daniel says he’s not giving up.

At the Rectory, Eric remembers the lady with the short dark hair (Kristen) at the hotel at the capital. He wonders why he is remembering that. Jennifer comes in and asks if something is wrong. He says he’s fine. She brought over a press release for him to read over re: the school. She wishes JJ had been able to go to St. Lukes. She notices he doesn’t look well. He says he’s fine or at least hopes he is, as he has flashes of collapsing in Sami’s arms earlier. Eric fills her in on Daniel still running tests on him to find out what’s wrong. The subject of Daniel seems to affect her a bit and Eric notices this. Jennifer mentions JJ’s problems and how hard it’s been to deal with. Eric tells her she’s a good mother and she’ll get through it. He mentions his cousin Theresa now working with her. Jennifer confirms this and has an annoyed look on her face. She tells him she met Theresa the other day and her first day at work was today. Eric mentions that she and his aunt Kim could probably trade parenting stories as Theresa is quite a handful. She smiles and agrees. She says she’s got to go. Eric asks her about Daniel, saying he’s seen a lot of couples have problems and they need to talk to each other to get through them. She seems to consider Eric’s advice. She is looking at her phone while Daniel is doing the same. She thinks she’ll be sending him mixed messages while he tells himself he has to respect her privacy.

Theresa has come to visit grandma Caroline at the Pub. Caroline calls her Jeannie but Theresa corrects her. Caroline asks what took her so long to come by. Theresa flashes back to JJ handing her the bag of joints and says she just had some stuff to take care of. Caroline offers a room upstairs for her but Theresa says no need. They discuss her working for Jennifer. Theresa says they didn’t exactly hit it off. Caroline wonders why but Theresa says she’s got to get back to work. She mentions about visiting Caroline in the hospital in California and is so glad she’s doing better. They hug and Theresa leaves.

Later, Theresa comes running into Jennifer’s office. Jen notes that she never made it to HR and rule number one is don’t mess with Anne Milbauer. LOL. Theresa explains she went to see her grandma. Jennifer says that’s fine but remember to only clock in once you’ve started work. Theresa thinks she’s still mad at her about the other night with JJ. Jennifer closes the door and demands the truth from her about the real reason she was with her son. Theresa says they just met and JJ is a really good kid. Jen says she loves the Brady’s and really wants this position to work out for her so let’s just forget about everything else and start over. They sort of talk nice but Jen makes no bones about her staying away from her teenage son. She leaves the office. Theresa eyes the bag of weed in her stuff and says she may be here 9-5 but after that her life’s her own.

At the K-Mansion, Justin is putting files into his briefcase and Adrienne comes busting in demanding answers about him being in bed with the DiMeras. He attempts to ignore her saying he has a meeting to get to and can’t stick around for her drama. She retorts this is all on him and now he’s inflicted it on their family. He says he’s doing his job and it’s none of her business. She can’t believe he’s being so naïve about Stefano, saying he’s going to be out for blood. Justin gets defensive saying he never would have gotten involved with this if he thought he’d be in danger. She says EJ pulled the wool over his eyes. She brings up him getting Sami off without so much as a slap on the wrist. He says he’s no chump and everything he did was legal and by the book. She can’t believe what he’s turned into, where’s his morality, his integrity? He turns to leave. She cries after him that there is nothing good about the DiMera’s and he’s aligned himself with them, where does that leave us? He gets sarcastic saying look around you, a mansion, a cook, a butler, a pool, do you have a problem living here knowing how Victor got his money? She says Justin is responsible for turning that around to the upstanding business it is now. He thinks she should offer the same opportunity for EJ to do the same to his company. He calls her hypocritical. She says it’s not all about you. She goes into the whole Sonny dating Will and Sami being his mother and about to marry EJ, yada yada yada. He yells their son is a grown man and he trusts him to make the right decisions, something he’s not so sure about her anymore. He slams the door and leaves, leaving Adrienne crying and upset.

Kristen meets with Dr. Chyka at the park. She asks about the info she sent him. He claims she is in the clear and nothing has shown up on the test results. She seems relieved to hear this and is ready to move forward with her plan on her own terms. Later, she meets with the gal helping her edit the video (and yes please cover your eyes if you don’t want to see). She wants her assurance that no one can tell it was edited. Kristen seems satisfied with her work and sends her on her way with money.

Eric stops by the Pub for takeout. Caroline mentions seeing Theresa. She says something about her being just like her mother and Eric knowing all about that and it being a curse. Sorry, didn’t really understand what she was talking about.

Later Eric is back at the Rectory talking to Marlena on the phone saying he’s fine and he’ll see her at the consecration ceremony for the school. Kristen walks in saying she’s there to show him something.

Maggie has brought Parker over to the K-Mansion. They are visiting with Adrienne. He is playing with a baby doll. This makes Adrienne think about baby Arianna and she pulls out her phone to show them a video of her. They watch the video of Will with Arianna but then Adrienne gets up to help Maggie with the drinks she’s about to spill and sets her phone down as it goes to the video of Sami and Bernardi so she doesn’t see it.
 
Here's the EJ/Sami stuff... :sick:

At DiMansion, EJ explains to Sami how he took over DiMera Enterprises and mentions it taking only 5 months to do. She catches on and can’t believe he kept this from her. She asks how Stefano took the news, looking worried. He gleefully says he’s furious of course and offered up an idle threat that he’d come crawling on his knees back to Stefano. He can see she’s upset about it and doesn’t understand. She angrily tells him that he hid all this from her and he’s destroying their lives. He argues that he did a wonderful thing and pulled off a coup, he’d like a congrats from her not a tongue lashing. She says from where she’s standing he looks like a fool. EJ orders her never to insult him or blatantly disrespect him that way ever again. She basically rolls her eyes saying they call each other names all the time. They argue back and forth (gee, I wonder where this is headed…) He says she always gets mad when he keeps something from her, she says of course she’d be mad, and he tells her he didn’t consult her on this because he knew she’d never keep her bloody mouth shut. She can’t believe he would accuse her of that. She realizes that is what all those secret phone calls, texts, etc were all about. He says he did this for their family and they should be celebrating his victory right now but all she wants to do is whine about how she wasn’t involved. She says that’s because she would never have approved of this. Now Stefano is their mortal enemy and he will come after both of them and their children. He angrily says she’s not listening to him, he has all the power now, the house, the jet, the company, etc. She says what about Stefano’s need for revenge and the evidence he has on her son. While you were busy dealing with your daddy issues, I might lose my son forever! He says how dare she insinuate he doesn’t care about William. He would never put him or anyone else in the family in danger. He says that Stefano has no standing, if he brought that evidence to light it would put him on the hook with Bernardi. If Stefano is going to hold a grudge against anyone it will be EJ. Sami retorts with right, because Stefano always plays fair. The best way to hurt him would be to hurt the ones he loves. He angrily tells her Stefano will NOT be a problem. She says him shouting that at her does not make it true. She thinks he’s being way cavalier about the safety of their children. He says if he’s so irresponsible and callous with no regard for her or the children then what the hell is she doing marrying him? She softens toward him saying she knows he loves his kids and her. He again asks her why she’s marrying him. She says she loves him and she gets to see a side of him others don’t. He starts walking toward her getting in her face saying what about his angry side, his ruthless side? She trips into the chess table and he’s close behind her in her ear asking if she thinks he’s a powerful man. She breathlessly says he’s the most powerful man she’s ever known. They start kissing and pushing some more. She pushes him into the chair and straddles him as he starts ripping at her dress. Later they are on the sofa in after glow, she still has her dress on, sort of, and he has pants on. She giggles as she looks up at the picture of them. He wants to know that she doesn’t doubt him and he did the right thing. She seems to be warming up to it now and he promises to kill Stefano if he does anything to try and hurt them. Sami smiles saying I love you. He thinks they will be the most compelling power couple since Bonnie and Clyde. No, he won’t go that far saying they’ll have a happy ending.
 
I think we are all fed up with the anger sex, and on that same couch. I think there should be a support group for abused furniture, to include the DiMera couch, Horton Town Square couch and Benchie, for a start. :rotfl:

P.S. I guess EJ wanted to have himself a little "Pepto Bismol."
 
EJ is such a twit. He seems to think that because he's pulled off a corporate coup that Stefano has been rendered essentially powerless. The Phoenix has been in the game for decades and must have billions stashed in bank accounts and safe-deposit boxes all over the world -- more than enough to send small armies of assassins to terrorize his faithless son and to make offers that the board members who abandoned him simply can't refuse. Anywhere but the minds of the current Days writers, this scenario would be sure to end with EJ on his hands and knees begging for forgiveness and Samantha crawling back to Rafe or Lucas pleading to be taken back.

The only thing I really enjoyed today was: everything with Eric (loved the Doctor Mom phone call), Daniel trying and never giving up to help Eric, Kristen being devious as usual and everyone (Theresa and Eric) visiting Caroline today. OH and Justin and Adrienne, really powerful scenes. You could see the desperation in Adrienne's eyes, she's so worried that Justin and the rest of the family will be part of the backlash from Stefano's war against EJ.

Interesting technique that the editing team used to show the Daniel and Jenn scenes. I liked the split screen in the end, interesting.

Did everyone notice how in the scenes with Sami and EJ that they kept trying to focus on that painting? It's like they really want us to know it's there. Yeah, we do, now stop shoving in our faces. Every time I see that painting I LAUGH! Can't help it, I just do.
 
Sami and Adrienne are so R-I-G-H-T.....Stefano is not just going to walk away with his tail between his legs . Like the evildoer he is, he's to go sharpen those horns and come back more vengeful than ever not just on EJ and Justin but their families. NO One is Safe!
Again, Again, Again.....the writers know of no other way to keep EJ and Samantha Gene a power couple other than sweaty chests and demonic sex!!! Not even to bring up what the two of them have done to each other over the years, but just T-O-D-A-Y alone....W-H-O in there right mind would ever stay with a person after the treatment of one another we saw today???? Or maybe I answer my own ????, being of right mind!!

Now it looks like Parker has seen the video, that would be interesting the next time he saw Sami to say something about her fighting with a man....or is he yet to young to drop a bomb like that. Heck I'm still waiting for Johnny to blurt out EJ was planning on taking him and Sydney to a far a way island.

I wish when Daniel wouldn't grovel after calling Maggie out for getting in his business after asking her not to say anything to Jennifer. She was wrong and she needed to know it and the writers need to have Mag's show sonny boy a little respect.

And speaking of respect....Theresa has no concept of the word. Another Samantha in the making!
