It has always seemed rather remarkable that DiMera Enterprises, a business entity that bears the family name of ruthless career criminals, actually has a board that could vote the mighty Phoenix out of office. It would seem that the board would be made up of a bunch of cringing toadies who will do whatever Stefano wants or else. How could it be any other way? Would Stefano ever really permit an arrangement that could put his control of the company and his possession of the DiMansion at risk? Only in Salem.

I don't think for a minute she loved EJ. If she did she could have had him at so many opportunities, but instead chose Rafe and Lucas. Once they were through with her, she needed a man in her bed so she ran off to EJ. She is only mad he cheated on her because it hurts her ego. She got what she deserves.
 
Well the episode was dull till the end! I was definitely wrong there and didn't see that coming! Kudos to the writers!
JS, I agree-I thought Sami put poison in them snacks when she told Harold to bring out the ones "they discussed". LOL. Sami annoyed me but I loved how she is setting them up! And it shows she is growing as a character.

I am glad Daniel broke it off with Jennifer and did feel sorry for them, but it is necessary. JJ is doing so well thoug; I feel bad for him that this came at an unfortunate time for him, but I was overjoyed that Daniel told him this does not change their relationship.

Nicole at the end bothered me, but I liked her telling off Marlena. I also love that she called Rafe. She and him should be together. Hopefully the writers will eventually go that route.

Hope and Aiden ooze chemistry. Bo who?
 
The Eve thing today seemed like filler. The cheap porno music with the sighs also really sucked and made no sense. At least save that for a sex scene.

Jen67, I think Sami has always loved Rafe this whole time and is certainly planning to return to him. She will probably find out that he cheated on Jordan with Kate, tell Jordan to break them up, and get with Rafe. And then Rafe will learn the truth, dump Sami, and she will leave Salem.
 
I think Sami knew the whole time she was going to leave EJ/Abby
alone. Sami was overly exited talking about this and that.

I wonder if Hope will tell Eric how they got the gala back
at the Salem Inn. It's Salem....
 
Sami has it all planned out. The over enthusiasm for her garden wedding, the joining with EJ so he can be a part of it, kissing him long and passionately, making Abby squirm every scene, and leaving EJ with absolutely nothing to say. Of course she will leave them alone. Just like dashing out for notes, oops, cannot find them, am back, ooh, hungry and needing food, blah, blah. More leaving them alone.
Sami knows exactly what she is doing, and that bright face, those big smiles, and the begging and pleading....oh, yes. She is definitely prepared, and catching both EJ AND Abby very unawares. She is definitely enjoying herself.

As much as I'd like to believe otherwise, I think she loves him, but I can't imagine WHY she does. I guess that time honored mantra of you can't control who you fall in love with holds here. Sometimes, no matter how bad a person is to you or for you, you still love them. :confused:
 
I wondered earlier if Sami may have taken the pictures. I really can't remember if it was assumed that Nick was responsible for that, or if he actually stated that - actually, I remember that he held that over Abby's head, so I guess Sami couldn't have taken the pictures. So, it wouldn't surprise me if Nick already had an envelope addressed to Sami to be mailed in the event of his death. I'm really eager to see how this plays out!
 
I don't think Sami loves EJ at all. It's all lust and a desire for money and now power. Rafe is her true love in my opinion with Lucas as her best friend. I used to say Lucas was her true love until Rafe came along and their chemistry blew everything else out of the water. Sami truly grew up when she was with Rafe while staying true to herself. TIIC ruined all that.

DrBakerFan: I agree about the Board. It's hard to believe that Dimera Enterprises would be a publicly held company. I cannot imagine them having a Board if the Dimeras owned the company outright. Stefano likes to be in the driver's seat at all times. I wonder which set will be recycled into the boardroom.
 
I'm wondering if the 'prepared snacks' that Harold is looking after (with Sami's guidance), contain an aphrodisiac which when eaten by EJ and Abigail cause them to engage in a playful romp! When was the last time we saw EJ and Sami in the bedroom?.....and they're supposed to be so much in love and engaged to boot! Yup, something definitely is up with Samantha! Am so glad Nicole got in touch with Rafe! They're both very vulnerable right now....who knows what could happen there...
