Ron can't write for ...socks, so I'm not confident in the casting of Marla Gibbs. They still haven't fully fleshed out any of the characters he's created thus far, nor any of the characters who've dominated story for the last year.

If Marla comes on Days and has some elements of Florence (from the Jeffersons) to her personality, then I’d watch. She was great in that role.
