Yes, I was thinking the same thing, even before that happened, but the fact that the others, Nick included, could accept his betrayal so easily seemed out of character after everything they'd been through together over the years.

Renard was not a saint when the show first started and he seems drawn to power. They may explain his sudden change this season next season or he may become the big baddie. Time will tell.
