I think Chad is for himself and will use any means or any person to further his self interest. At this point, my guess is that he's working with Stefano. He could still get back at EJ that way too.

If Stefano has been grooming Chad to become the next GodFather.....well, must say that Chad's actions so far DO remind me of Michael Corleone.

I also think he is working with/for Stefano. There would be no reason to bring him back if he wasn't going to manipulate, lie, cause trouble? I mean it's not as if he was brought back to Salem to .......ohhhhhhh.......I don't know.......take pictures for a hospital or sabotage a new to adulthood and Salem U student. Now that's riveting!!! LOL!
