Not to nitpick lol, but Shane is Will's uncle by marriage, not by biology. Shane married Will's great aunt Kim, who is Roman's (Will's granddad) sister.

In my honest opinion I think the John/Paul meets were just a nod to Drake Hogestyn's (John) past career. These writers really don't seem to want to write for him, and he was only brought back begrudgingly by TIIC.

LOL, thanks, Cryin'....I knew when I originally named Shane, it was because he was not a Horton or Brady or Kiriakis. Since Days so loves to have anyone in town connected to everyone else somehow by blood, it does seem difficult to find one who isn't.
But then, it is because "strangers" come to town that we finally get some new blood. After all, Marlena was once a newcomer.
Hey, another possibility could be the missing Hernandez papa. LOL

As much as I would like John to have a good storyline, I do not feel that Paul being his son is a good one. I would rather Paul be a character without having any relation to the people of Salem.

I thought that Clyde could possibly be Paul's father at first. However, given John/Paul's meeting and Marlena's interest in him, I'm now leaning towards John being Paul's father.
