I hope the actor, if in fact he will be gone, does find other work. But for me, I wasn't a Joey fan. I did like his chemistry with Patch and Kayla though..
I may be a bit off topic and I agree with you. A parent would naturally be upset for their child. HOWEVER, in my opinion, parents today become so involved in their children's lives that they just want to fix it instead of allowing their child to fall and learn how to pick themselves up again, and in this instance especially considering her son is an adult. I would be livid if my mother went to social media in this manner. Too often parents side with their children even if their child is so obviously in the wrong and there are no consequences for bad behaviour which leads to a unrealistic sense of entitlement in today's youth that carries over into their adulthood. Not a fan but I think his mother is naturally upset. That said, you know this is a tenuous career choice and there will be many ups and downs. Having your mother complain about your boss (whoever) just shows again how people do not seem to get the impact of social media. My children would be mortified if I took to Facebook and complained about them being fired. Glad I did not have the social media to deal with my kids when they were younger. I think it's worse when it's the adult misusing it.
Life has a lot of changes. Story ran its course, new writers, the saying a new broom sweeps clean has been around for ages. Coaches are let go all the time when a new head coach comes and wants his own team. Players are traded. It does not mean the player did not do a good job. Kind of tired of everyone getting offended. It's part of this business. Learn it and move on.
Whether or not they should have let him go, I don't know. Constantly changing writers and trying to fix the mess of a previous writing team seems to be the norm. This is part of the reason we have trouble following the stories and what they are conveying. Kind of like when your doctor admits you to a hospital and then is not allowed to care for you there, a hospitalist takes over who does not have a clue of your history. But I digress:back:
So they wrote one son out to bring in a new son?!
