I am so sorry to hear about your niece. Prayers are all around.

Yes, sort of, niece was able to find a surgeon. He explained everything that was going to happen, IV, gown, intubation, and such. But as of this date no surgery date has been shared. Not sure if that is good news. He doesn't think it's that serious, or he is that booked?

That sounds hopeful. I pray it turns out good for her. So glad she found a surgeon.

Just got a call. The hospital has the info so once they have the deposit they will schedule the date.

Surgery set for June 25th. She will go home after. What happens next depends on what is found during surgery.

Surgery went well, niece is now home they need to wait till next week to hear back from the surgeon to see what next step will be if there will be another step. My sister seems to think this surgery is the end of the line for this. Fingers crossed she's right.
