SPOILER !! Week August 3

Yes, I made a note of that as the only positive thing I could say about this horrible torture storyline. And it looks like it gets worse next week. At least Ciara and Hope find him by Wednesday. I still won't watch the torture parts, and I still hate this character, but, yes, the actress looks wonderful.

Also, funny that people are suggesting that John and Patch do what they are good at to investigate and find the wedding bomber, but the Salem brains, Ciara and Claire, have already figured it out!

I think she tells them of Sami's interference with Rafe and then Sonny learns Will knew which is why he gets upset with Will for not telling him

After seeing what Ciara and especially, Claire, were wearing, I had forgotten all about that weird top Gabi had on. Not sure if that is an undergarment or outer wear but it looks very strange. Still, Claire's garb took the cake for me. Looked like a little girl dragging out a bunch of random grownup clothes to play "dress up" and then just draping them all over herself.

On another note, I really hope Allie will keep her baby and then will have a good story.
 
Claire has always had that Bohemian vibe going. It seems to fit her personality quite well. At least I think so. Ciara is always, at least it seems to me, to be teetering on the edge of trashy. If I had tried to go out of the house in those outfits, back in the day, my mother would have tied me to a chair and left me there! I had more than a few disagreements with my daughter when she was a teen. Maybe times have changed more than I thought. Maybe I'm just old. I do wish the young women were dressed a little more modestly. Ciara and Claire are beautiful and they don't need trashy clothes.
 
I don't consider myself a prude, but maybe I am, but Sarah in black boots and something on her bottom is too much for me. I see why Paul Telfer (Xander) tweeted that.

OK I must be a prude, because people on Twitter are going wild about it.

Between the Sarah and Xander way too much info for me, plus the graphic torture scenes, which I know that many people are enjoying, it doesn't look like there is a lot for me to watch next week. I am not a prude, but that was too much for me. And, I don't like torture, even if fake.
 
Agreed, LisaK. Most of us watch Days for a little (very little, lately) entertainment and a bit of an escape from the daily drudges. The Sarah/Xander scene looks more like porn than a soap opera. Ben's torture is way, way more graphic than it needs to be. Days seems to be going in a direction that will make a lot of viewers think twice before tuning in.
