Since this very expensive necklace was a wedding present (ha ha) to Sarah from Xander, and it looks like they have determined that Sarah shouldn't keep it, shouldn't it go back to Xander instead of it being re-giftable from Rex??????

Let me see. It's not ok for Sarah to accept an expensive gift from Xander, but it is ok for Rex to give an expensive gift to Chloe.

According to Emily Post and Miss Manners, once a gift is given, it is the recipient's and they can do with it what they wish. But seriously, it would've been considerate to give it back to Xander. Rex just didn't want Xander to return it for a refund (not knowing that it was given to Xander by Ted and didn't cost Xander a penny to begin with).
