Paulina can't win unless they're going to have her govern remotely. My guess: Abe will win. She won't (as she shouldn't after campaigning for a hot ten minutes). Or she'll win and quickly have to resign. I guess they think we still care about Chanel's secret and are waiting with bated breath. I'm not. I fast forward through those scenes. The election has to be next week, time wise, so unless it goes to a run off, this storyline regarding the election should be over quickly. Next.

Sloan and Alex together make my eyes and ears bleed. He's kind of growing on me a tiny, tiny bit, but she's the walking embodiment of nails on a chalkboard.

I'm interested in Johnny and Wendy teaming up because I want EJ and especially Kristen to get what's coming to them.
 
LOL, JasonD, you made a very valid point. It is hard to believe the idiocy of the storylines, as I refuse to believe the writers are that stupid. Viewers are just not that stupid or naïve. I would think 99.9 % of us know a lot about how all those items work. Heck, you cannot watch TV without learning things. Same goes for computer and internet. We read newspapers, hear news on radio, watch it on TV. We know most folks don't dress as Days characters do, female cops don't wear skirts or heels, all policemen are not detectives as as soon as they join up.

Family practictioners are just that, they refer you to specialists if needed, as they are not jack of all trades. Many lawyers specialize.......corporate law, family law, crime defense, they will refer you elsewhere, don't handle ALL items. As to film & production......there they all are, in L.A. (Hollywood) & yet screw up a story. LOL
 
Ah, Tina, you have hit mostly everything right on the money. But...Abe is Mayor of Salem, & I do not think he is running against Paulina for governor. I guess ReRon felt withholding Chanel's secret from the viewers was intriguing. It isn't. Don't care. Personally, I think Paulina should tell it first, the whole shebang. Someone wanted to blackmail her, asking big bucks, she won't bow to that, so will tell it herself. Seems to me, that would be in her favor to do so.
 
No. I mean Abe said he'd leave Salem with Paulina if she gets elected. The other day when he talked to Julie, it sounded like he's also running for mayor. Maybe I'm confused, but didn't he ask if she was supporting him? So it sounds like he's up for mayor. She's up for governor. Two different races.

I could not have written better words to express my opinion of Sloan. Nails on a chalkboard is right on the money!

I like Wendy and Johnny teaming up. I hope they drowned EJ & Kristen in their own misery.

OMG just find Rafe a woman/wife that really and truly loves him.

Send the dogs in heat (Eric & Nicole) out to Timbuktu for all I care. I am so done with this storyline.

PS: l've always loved and rooted for Nicole, but I am not liking the constant "I want what I can't have." attitude.
 
It's the most bizarre thing to permanently replace a legacy character interconnected with the show's fabric (Adrienne) with a sideshow gimmick doppelganger character (Bonnie). They have to switch that back eventually. Bonnie doesn't offer as much possibility for story.
