By all means, let's drag out the mourning scenes. :rolleyes: Either have her memorial and be done with it or start giving some hope she is still alive, even if it means a recast. (I don't mean to suggest people in real life should just get over their mourning, but this is a soap and emotions don't need to be dragged out, especially when there is no good evidence the person is dead).

That's his problem -- he's Stefano's son. None of the Phoenix's biological offspring inherited his smarts. Instead, they all seem to have been hit with the stupid stick. For example:
  • EJ -- he was enamored with screechy Sami (case closed);
  • Tony -- after breaking with Stefano, he returned to the family circle to no good effect. He also married Anna, which wasn't exactly such a good move.
  • Andre -- a total loony who managed to get himself killed with a funeral urn.
  • Chad -- he married batty Abigail and hasn't been exactly a whiz at business;
  • Stefan Zero -- he fell in love with a schizophrenic's alter (case closed);
  • Jake -- he got involved with the awful Gwen and now wants into the toxic DiMansion (he'd be far safer at his garage).
  • Benjy -- he was safely living in Europe, but foolishly returned to Salem with predictable dire consequences.
 
You forgot Andre and Megan.

Roughly in order of appearance: Tony, Andre, Renee, Megan, Benjy, Lexie, Kristen, Peter, EJ, Chad, Stefan and Jake.

The grandchildren are: Steven (Benjy's son), Theo, Johnny, Sydney, Grace (deceased), Thomas, Charlotte and Rachel.
 
I read some crazy theory that what happens in the two-week arc that was inserted so the shows will line up correctly with the holidays will revolve around Rolf creating a time machine. That all kinds of crazy things happen in the two week time period and at the end, Rolf's time machine takes the Salemites back to before the blackout and all of the craziness in those two weeks never actually happened. Kind of like Dallas and Pam waking up to a "dead" Bobby Ewing in the shower. :rolleyes:

Again, this is just a crazy theory.
