Or maybe she just notices that they exist :rotfl: You would have thought that somewhere along the way there would have been some interaction between Nicole and Holly (She is still ghosting around the DiMera mansion, isn't she??) talking about her having a new brother or sister (Sorry, can't remember if we've seen if they had revealed the gender yet, didn't think we had but it's a fog in my brain).

Or for that matter, you'd think since Holly is in Salem, that occasionally her and Nicole and EJ would occasionally have a family get together, or show them all doing something together, as a family, especially since Nicole and EJ are going to be married. You'd think since he's soooooo big on family that he would incorporate Holly more into the DiMera fold. Then again, there's barely even a mention of Sydney. You'd think she doesn't exist. Seems like a good time to SORAS her also. I mean is she not out of boarding school yet?
 
No, it's not been said if Nicole is having a boy or girl.

I'll give Days (and all the other soaps) a pass at rarely showing the little kids, since it's such a pain in the neck (and all the extra expenses) to have kids on the set. Unless the kids are in a featured storyline, they usually don't bother having them around just for the heck of it due to the expense and hassle.

Now that being said, at least pretend they are around. B&B does that. They'll play sounds of kids playing/laughing and have the mom character looking out the door as if the kids are playing in the yard and making a comment ("don't throw the ball too far"). Or having a character standing at the door saying "bye, have a good time at the park with Aunt So-and-So." Or "Kid1 and Kid2 are at Susie's birthday party right now." That kind of thing costs nothing to add.

There's really been no storyline for Sydney. But now that they're SORAS'ing Tate and Holly, it would be a good time to bring her back to Salem, although they'd have to add another teen as a love interest, since Tate and Sydney are cousins (as Jeannie T and Sami are Brady cousins).

Monday, Oct 9
Theresa and Brady return with Tate.
Stephanie is about to inform Vivian she quits when she finds Alex at Titan.

Nicole reminds Abe of how close they once were and could be again.

Sarah’s attitude toward Xander softens after she learns Susan is alive.

Harris and Ava get closer.

I'm really upset that the idiot broke up Xander and sent Chloe packing, and with Philip. REALLY?!

Xander has been so decent to Chloe, and Philip didn't even have the decency to tell Chloe he was really alive. He let he go through the deepest of pain and suffering, mourning his death and thought only of himself.

Eric is not happy that Sloan is representing Xander: Somebody should tell the sanctimonious Bad Twin that Sloan has to earn a living (something that’s never been a priority for feckless Eric).

— have the case heard by one of Salem’s more incompetent judges.
— if the judge is a woman, have pictures of Xander shirtless or wearing a kilt admitted into evidence.
— play up Xander’s heroics (like saving Maggie) to show he’s changed.
— get former hospital patients to testify about Dr. Sarah’s utter lack of a bedside manner.
— stress Sarah’s obnoxious personality and document her messy matrimonial history.
