Tuesday, September 4:
Kayla receives upsetting news about Steve. [Poor Kayla -- a good part of her life has consisted of getting upsetting news about Steve.]

Wednesday, September 5:
Abigail confides in JJ she thinks Gabi is out to get her. [OMG, a moment of perceptiveness from the largely clueless Abigail.]

Thursday September 6:
John finds Marlena in crisis as Valerie tries to save her life. [Where's Dr. McScruffy when you really need him? In fact, it's too bad that Dr. Rolf isn't around. If Stefano was still around, he'd surely send his resurrection specialist to save his Queen of the Night.]
Brady blasts Will when he overhears him declare his love for Sonny. [Where does dim-witted Brady get off blasting anyone for their love choices? He permanently forfeited that ability when he fell for Kristen.]

Friday, September 7:
Eric and Brady try to support John, who's deeply concerned about Marlena's condition. [Eve's boy toy and Mr. Gloom & Doom aren't much, but poor John needs all the support he can get.]

Brady was very young when John & Kristen were engaged...and Isabella was John's 3rd great love (Marlena, Diana, & Isabella - not to mention he also hung with Olivia when Orpheus had Marlena captive).

PS - this shot was John & Marlena's wedding AFTER Kristen was exposed and right before Brady & Belle went through the Soap Opera aging process. That's young Brady. I realize soaps don't care about age, but between Kate (the great grandma) and every man in town, and Kristen seducing her almost stepson, and Hope with her niece's ex-husband, and Eric with his babysitter....I mean COME ON writers. Find characters that work together instead of forcing these uncomfortable (to the fans) relationships
 
I'm quite upset about the story line having Steve fade into the past. With all the new people coming on the scene, couldnt the "powers that be" cut this loved character at little more in his paycheck? Of course, bringing back dumb ole Jack is hope that Steve may also return someday--Of course it will be at Kayla's wedding to ???-which is about the only way the writers can think to re-introduce a character.
Rant is over but the anger remains.

I'm guessing Will will be about to tell him when he plunges, then will be too worried about him after Paul's injuries, and on and on. Hopefully it will be more creative.

For example: Will strings Paul along while he's recovering, genuinely feeling bad but also because Paul's motivated to resume his life with Will. Will & Sonny keep their relationship secret and are tormented by their deception. Paul falls in love with his PT (a soap trope but let's give it a pass) and cheats on Will with his PT, then dumps Will. Now Will, despite getting what he wanted, is heartbroken for all the wrong reasons. [Speculation/fantasy only.]
 
Marci Miller(Abigail) and Christopher Sean(Paul) both finished on May 25 I think meaning they should air until sometime in November. I don't think there will be a gap between Abigails. It really is quite stunning that Marci wouldn't extend for another 2-3 months just to finish out. Always more to the story I'm sure.

Very difficult time for Will/Paul/Sonny. So sad, yet happy. Mixed emotions. :cry:
 
Well. I usually think Brady is a brainless idiot. But on this one, I couldn't agree more. Will should not be treating Paul this way, after all his promises. Apparently, Will is just like his mother : he wants what he wants when he wants it, does not care one iota about hurting people he claims to love. Too bad, really, as I think Will and Paul were a much better couple than Sonny and Will.

Sorry FinchelKlaine4E that would require that the shows writers actually know the family connections for that to happen......I don't believe for a moment that that can be proven to be true.(that the writers know family connections in Salem)
