Gabi & Rafe only know what Abby knows......they have not checked Dario's story of possible deportation. And Dario has convinced Abby that they have to act the "in love" couple in public in order to be convincing. Yes, this entire storyline is asinine in my opinion.
 
My bet is Dario killed Deimos. The rumors of him leaving the show makes me think that and with Vincent Irizarry (Deimos) stating he would air into August, it won't be Sonny. Too early for a resolution.
 
Sonny’s confession is backed up by a witness. [Witnesses? This ensures that Sonny is innocent of murdering Deimos. Salem is full of people, especially witnesses, who know an awful lot that isn't so.]

Hope and Rafe celebrate their engagement. [Good luck to the happy couple. Unfortunately, in Salem, celebrations are often the beginning of the end. And will they get a congratulatory card from Aiden Jennings?]

Paul stands by Sonny. [Of course he does. What choice does he have? If he turned against Sonny, he'd be added to Victor's snark list.]

Abigail spies on Dario and learns stunning information. [What a grand and glorious start for Abigail's "happy" life with Dario: she's already spying on him. Has she read Sami's best selling guide to wedded bliss, How to Survive a Salem Marriage?]

Rafe, Hope, Lani, and JJ’s investigation leads to a new, surprising suspect. [A grand and surprising coup for the usually inept Salem P.D., unless of course this new suspect is some obviously innocent person, such as Harold, Henderson, or Father Louis. E.g., "Commissioner Raines. It has to be Henderson. Who would dislike Deimos more than the man who had to bow and scrape to him all day, every day?"]

Hope was never Miss Perfect. She's been hot water many times for being impetuous. And even if she was, it would be nice to have a good person around once. Not always lying to see what they could get away with. That stupidity with Stefano was something no one would really have done.

I lived about 50 miles from Detroit when Ol' Jimmy disappeared. I have always said that we probably ate him in fast food burgers.
 
LOL........That is hilarious KL.....I have heard a few "insider" versions of what happened to him (told to the feds or cops by Mafia people) & one was that he WAS ground up, but that he was fed to pigs.

Then of course, there was the one that said he was dropped into the huge hole which was having concrete poured the next day for support columns for some giant high rise. LOL

but as we know, Salem cops cannot think outside the box, so Stefano gets wrapped in some flimsy rug, dropped off in some bldg. scheduled for demolition.....(but not the next day, dumb cops, nothing unusual). And of course that tiny speck of blood on a decorative tiny statue in the DiMera study, leads Andre straight to that place. Aren't soaps wonderful?

On Days, it does seem the populace does all the solving, not the cops. I remember John Clarke bemoaning the fact that Mickey never won a case in court...Sort of sounds like Justin, huh? LOL
