Wednesday, April 24, 2019
Maggie and Kate clash over Kate's return to Titan. [Victor must be losing it. This is the most foolish thing he's done since marrying Vivian Alamain.]

Thursday April 25:
Sarah tricks Marlena into spilling the truth. [This is more evidence of the awful Sarah's lack of character. Nobody who's worth anything plays fast ones on Doc Evans.]

Friday April 26:
A mysterious person kidnaps Holly! [This is Holly's first step toward becoming a real Salemite.]
 
Soap Opera digest says Rafe gets shot. Oh please do not let that reunite him and Hope!!

Lucas is coming back. Yay! He says it has to do with an unhealthy relationship. Really? In Salem?

More Mexican cartel stuff. Be glad when that is over. I don't think the cartel is really that inept at killing people.
 
If Ted is working with the cartel, bye bye Hope for good. Considering Ciara was shot at by the cartel thought to have been Chloe and now soon to be kidnapped with Gabi by them.

-Rafe catches Hope and Ted in a tender moment.
 
If Ted is working for the cartel, why is he pursuing Hope? I would think he'd be courting Chloe for the cartel. Of course, things in Salem are never simple and often don't make sense. Ted is crooked, no doubt about that. He's working for someone shady and it could be the cartel or it could be Aiden. Aiden would want Hope targeted for revenge. I guess we'll find out soon enough!
 
It DOES seem this headwriter only writes in clumps. By that I mean, the focus is on several characters in 2 or 3 stories, heavy focus, then veers off to focus on some others who one has not seen in weeks. John is noticeably absent completely, characters are gone for a couple weeks or more at a time. John/Marlena had their story for a month or so, then disappear, Rafe was gone for a couple weeks, and continues to be rarely seen. Doug & Julie disappear. Gabi had her revenge story against Abby, Chad, Stefan, then vanished. Chloe gets banished over to DiMansion with her invisible children, used as filler along with Stefan.
Don't you wonder why the detectives have so many files to go over, when they never work? I mean they either small talk at the cop shop, or are off work, having meals, tending babies, sipping a drink at a bar??? LOL But then, same goes for all the corporate big shots, who don't even ever go to their office.
Wonder what kind of relationship woes Brady has? I guess he must be living back at Kmansion since he took the top job, (again, no office) thus Maggie is conveniently there. But unless he is yapping about brother Eric....what relationship woes? He blackmailed Nicole into leaving, now she is dead, Theresa went to CA, Madison died, Melanie is in Europe....oh, I know, he is trying to decide if he should take up with ex-wife Chloe again, or maybe that minx, Gabi...cannot make up his mind. :sarcasm:
 
I agree about the writers focus on one or two stories or couples at a time and I sure will be glad when the Eve/Jack story is over and even more glad when we can get Doe eyed Ben and Ciara gone for a while......preferably for a LONG while.

And why does he have to live at back at the mansion? I'm sure with the money Brady has received Kiriakis', Black and Toscano family fortunes in addition to his own salary, investments and savings, you'd think Brady would want to purchase his own luxury home or condo to call home and have privacy.

Yea, it was a speculation, but upon reading more I actually have a much better plausible one. Again a reminder this is my new speculation. Ted is obviously working for someone shady, but maybe he isn't in town yet. I already speculated new villain guy is likely David's bio father whom Jordan didn't want David near. I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow tied his story in with Ted's, Days commonly has done that in the past to introduce a character.
 
It was a good speculation, ErasofDiMeras! Not much that happens in Salem makes sense anymore. It does sound like Baby David's bio dad is someone bad and slimy Ted is most likely wrapped up in there somewhere. Maybe Ted does really love Hope. In Salem everybody loves somebody who loves somebody else. Just ask Eric or Brady. My speculation is Ted working for Aiden but I think he died once or twice. Heck, everyone in Salem dies more than once!
