Well Jason47 just confirmed (via Soap Opera Digest) Alison Sweeney (Sami) is returning and will be taping in May and June so an extended stay. It is official with confirmation by the actress so if an admin wants to remove the spoiler tag and put the name in headline feel free.

I have had one recurring thought as these "lack-luster"stories of late have progressed (?) Thank heavens Sami isn't back. YIKES!! Now what? Just when I began to hope things would get better - now ?????

My guess is the audition of the actor doing the Sami/EJ scene may be a hint about what this is about.

This is truly disappointing news. If she is taping May & June, that will be the new writer's story, and will be seen Nov./Dec. And I had such high hopes for his coming to write for Days.

Redone "flashback" perhaps??? I honestly just cannot bear the thought of another return of Sami, And heavens, having EJ back would be even worse.

This is not the sort of news I was looking forward too for new stories. And if EJ comes back, even though no one who was dead will return, well that rule hasn't been followed for anyone but Jack. I guess I'll have some decisions to make.
