One positive (assuming it drops at midnight as most shows do on streaming services) is we can watch when we want. No news preemptions. But on the flip side I also wonder if this is step one to the show ending
OMG, Kat - I was going to post that Days is on life support!
I'm with you.If they think they keep going every day with three sets and rotating actors to keep costs down and that's enough for people to pay, they're out of their minds.
Me too Poirot, and we probably are amongst the show's watchers, who have been around forever. I am so sad today, i don't have streaming, and was told that since my tvs are older, and not smart tvs, i cannot get Peacock.Since I don't have streaming, guess that will be the end of me seeing the show........
If they can find a way to stream Dark Shadows in multiple formats, they can find a way - they just don't want to (and it's harder with a show that has no defined start/stop points other than 1965 and now).I know they can't air really old episodes because I don't think there's a way to split royalties for shows where the deals were done without new media agreements.
Peacook is not even available in Canada because your device has to be in the US or you have to be located in specific locations - I wasn't able to watch the Beyond Salem recent episodes.I feel betrayed by the show. I've been watching for almost 40 years!
Shockingly, B&B's budget allows them to tape shows in other countries at times. They're currently airing scenes that they did Monaco.Increase the shows budget to a respectable level for a daytime drama.
Reposted without comment.viewers will not make the move to Peacock especially since its on a paid tier and the quality of the show is terrible.
I couldn't follow that tweet, has it been deleted?
