Full timeline (for those interested): Sonny was in town 16 months before kissing Will (right after the Daysaster), and they got married 19 months later. Marlena should have slapped him and walked out on his whining when he said "Sonny was desperate to get married to someone." Then again, given his horrific failure to grasp the English language, I wouldn't expect him to understand the meaning of any of those words.
Paul was honest with Sonny. But he's still a smarm. I don't for a second believe he loves Sonny. I really hope he gets a second opinion on his arm, finds he can play baseball, and skips town.
And of course, I still don't believe that Sonny proposed to someone and never mentioned it to ANYONE in the 3 years he was in Salem. Not his mom. Nor dad. Nor cousin Abby with whom he pulled all of these mystery pranks. (Insert any of my previous rantings on this topic here, LOL.)
Two characters mentioned previous jobs today. Methinks the writers did some research for this episode. But on the other hand, who is Mrs Horton? Just when I was about to "score one" for the writers, the dialogue person screws up!!
Colour me crazy - but I was actually looking forward to JJ/Eve's romp this time. Seriously - maybe because I knew Jen was going to find them, maybe because they were a little more "upfront" about their desirings, maybe because there was less angry hate in the air. I'm not sure where this is going, but I found their scenes funny.
I will send the writers a bottle of champagne if Jennifer has a heart attack tomorrow. (Call me crazy, but I like that catsuit thing she's wearing.)
Meanwhile, Sonny & Will lost all their money...but can still afford a babysitter even when they are AT HOME.
I want to give a hoot about Tori, but she's so boring. Her secret is boring. Her drinking tea is boring. Her pressuring Paul to skip town is boring. Her eavesdropping on John is boring. Her peeking through doors at Doc/John is creepy...and boring.
I really don't care who Paul's daddy is, I hope he really is dead, because I don't trust these writers to handle a story about John/Paul/Marlena.
Bye Roxanne - probably good for you to leave town before the writers make you lose all shreds of dignity & integrity & intelligence like your fake nemesis, "Peg."
I really liked the Lucas & Adrienne scenes.
