The show was really excellent! Anyone else as surprised as me that the Sin Eater was Ichabods son?
How long do we have to wait to see how they will get out of this mess? September?
The Crane family is in for a rough season when Sleepy Hollow returns next fall.
'Sleepy Hollow' Season 2 Gets 18 Episodes, Uninterrupted Season On Fox It's not everyday that you rescue your centuries-old wife from purgatory only to discover that your supernatural gifted son has been raised from the dead to become War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Its just Ichabod Crane's (Tom Mison) luck that this is the kind of day that is becoming typical for his inadvertently time traveling family.
When season 2 begins, Ichabod will have to teach Katrina Crane (Katia Winter) just how to fit in during the 21st century, and both of Jeremy Crane's (John Noble) parents need to unravel their son's bizarre past.
"There's a lot to be filled in from the five years between his wake-up until now, so you'll see quite a bit [of Jeremy's history]," promised executive producer Alex Kurtzman, according to TV Guide.
However, neither of them can get any answers until they are safely out of danger. For Ichabod, this is a time sensitive matter.
"We know that Crane is in the coffin, so the clock is ticking quickly," Kurtzman explained to Entertainment Weekly. "He's in a lot of jeopardy so we have to face that very quickly and not take too long before addressing it."
Find out the fate of the Cranes when Sleepy Hollow returns to Fox this fall.
If waiting for new Sleepy Hollow episodes seems like your own personal stint in Purgatory, take heart: Fox on Monday let us know exactly when Abbie and Ichabod’s mission will resume.
The supernatural drama will return on Sept. 22 at 9/8c for a second season, the network announced at a screening and panel discussion held at California’s Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
Also on Monday, the series posted the following behind-the-scenes photo to its Facebook page with the caption, “What confrontations will ensue in Season 2?” Peruse, then scroll down.
That’s gotta be Abbie in the pigtails, right? Maybe in a flashback? And could the woman sitting opposite her possibly be her mom? (Remember, series co-creator/executive producer Alex Kurtzman teased that we’d “perhaps” meet Mama Mills in the drama’s second season.)
