SPOILER !! Week Dec 17

I really hope we will see Gabi have some kind of a breakdown, or consequences of a brain injury/tumor making her act that way. At the beginning, I was really rooting for her character, understanding her frustration, as I still think Abigail got off too easy and everything she does wrong gets sugar coated and excused. But now, it's gone too far. I still don't want Gabi to be ruined for good though. Come on "writers", fix this!
 
Gabi already was in jail. First for a crime perpetrated in self defense (contrary to Abigail, she did not get a special treatment), then for a crime she did not commit. So why should she be in jail more than Abigail? Plus, Abigail only got two lousy weeks of therapy with a member of her family. That's not even a slap on the wrist.

I do agree about Kate, though.

Well that would be an interesting scenario, but I wouldn't want that to be so easy for Gabi....This time she needs to pay for what she has done and lock her up, take the key and throw it away for good....Just my thoughts....ShaSha

I do agree on that, KathyLu. :) But since this is Salem, where logic does not ever apply, I'm hoping for a twist in this Gabi storyline simply because I want some kind of balance at least. And while I can live without logic, I need balance. And Days seriously lacks in that department. Or maybe, some kind of Salem Justice, no more double standards.
For instance:
- Why is Kate still in the picture after everything she's done, while Nicole, while she was on, was the town punching bag? Everybody going as far as calling her a porn star when she was in fact abused and forced into these movies by a violent father !!!! (I cannot get over this)
- Why should Gabi go to jail again, while Abigail walks around like she's some kind of a can-do-no-wrong princess?
- Why is Stefan treated like dirt (mind you, I absolutely think he should be) but rapist EJ is still viewed by everyone (in Salem I mean, not on this board) now has Sami's "love of her life"?
- Why was Jennifer never called on her horrible behaviour towards Nicole during their feud over Daniel, pushing Nicole over the edge, close to suicide?
- Why is Ben viewed as a monster, when EJ, again, was viewed as this terrific guy Sami fell in love with?

I could go on and on, but I would still be here tonight. And you would all be bored. So vent over. Sorry. Carry on.
 
Monday December 17:
Victor punishes Chad for his betrayal of Sonny. [Chad is lucky that he's dealing with the new semi-mellow Victor. If this was twenty years ago, Chad would be reenacting Tricky Nicky's dive into the icy Salem River.]

Wednesday December 19:
Things get heated when Sarah tries to persuade Chloe to allow Eric to raise Holly. [The diva should suggest that annoying Sarah leave town ASAP and that she take Eric with her. (Roman would like this. Sourpuss Eric probably scares customers away from the Pub, but Roman doesn't have the heart to fire him.]

As much as I can't stand Gabi right now, I wish someone would silence Julie, once and for all. Her holier than thou attitude and buttinski ways drive me nuts. I can't find anything likable about her at all.

Julie's constant poor Nicky rant gets old. Other than that. I like Julie. I have liked her since her youth. I wish she got involved in more stories. Don't like the soap opera deal of her possibly being hurt and unable to out Gabi.

Your lips to the writers' pens. Maybe we'll find out Gabi had a psychotic break and then everyone can make excuses for her.
 
Gotta be a reason Rafe is suddenly being talked about as a "by the book" cop........we all know he has bent the rules/laws at times, mostly for Hope....so am guessing he will get put to the test with Gabi.....and probably will cover for her. Yep, temp. insanity....or something of that nature.
 
I kinda think it would be a bit of poetic justice if Gabi winds up with a brain injury because of the beating she got in jail. In essence, it would be Abigail's fault for everything that Gabi did to her.
 
Waiting for Jack to appear.... or Xander in his towel.... he doesn't need a story.... just a towel an appearance on screen...

Current bunch of drivel isn't holding my attention and honestly I don't have much hope for Jack when he returns a few episodes where he has more than 3 minutes then regulated to 3 minutes every other week...

I have been annoyed with Julie's rants about Gabi and what she did to her precious Nicky, but Gabi's actions in this upcoming spoiler is totally uncalled for. At her age, Julie could be seriously injured in a fall.
