Julie goes home, promptly finds Gabi's ornament, and this happens:

Interesting point, JasonDiSpeech. Now that I think about it, the women are always punished one way or another. The men seem to slip out of trouble easily. It also seems to me that the women are objectified by the way the show dresses them. The younger women are dressed very inappropriately for the weather and business. I've seen Nicole in dresses so tight that it was a wonder she could sit at her desk. As for Gabi, she is dressed like a hooker most of the time. Her wedding dress was ridiculous for an outdoor wedding in the Midwest. She should have had frostbite on her bum!

It kind of makes me think that the writers, PTB, or whoever is in charge really dislikes women. The ladies of Salem all seem to have a mean streak and they are not beneath hurting others to get what they want. Marlena is probably the one exception but even she can get snarky when the situation calls for it. If they are trying to portray strong women they have failed.
