I'd like it if Tripp and Ciara have a double wedding with Shawn-D and Belle. Then Ciara could never feel anything for Ben again, and we can tell new stories.
 
Ha..........I am glad Eric knows what Brady did to get Nicole to leave town, also that Eve admits she told Jennifer. This is what happens with secrets in Salem, when the person with one tells someone, anyone.
So, while Sami swore on her mother's death bed that she was going to try and be more like her for her kids, she immediately goes running off (guess she got released from jail, huh?) to find Kristen, and we know it is only to ask that EJ question. I hope and pray JasonD gets his wish, tis mine as well, in re: Stefan's question to Kristen.
 
I read this morning that Kayla, John and Roman move Marlena to an unused floor of the hospital to keep her on a ventilator. They bring in Hattie Adams to pretend to be Marlena when she wakes from her coma but being that it's Hattie she goes off script. She wants to marry John, she has words for Sami for shooting her, and has it out with Belle who wanted to take her off of life support.

I think this may be good especially when Hattie strays from being Marlena.
 
Never cared for Hattie. And the Hattie and Bonnie stuff from last year was not entertaining to me. I wish the writers would stop bringing them back. It’s ridiculous that family members cannot recognize their real loved one over a look-alike. No one is physically exactly the same, even with plastic surgery. Even twins have slight differences. This story’s build up has been pretty good up until now. I feel Hattie will cheapen it to a comedy show. Blahhhh...
 
It is only to buy time........since Belle was so adamant about turning the paper over immediately. She could have waited a day or two, but refused. And I am guessing, only guessing, that with all the intense drama and tears of the past couple weeks, the show figured it was time to inject a bit of humor, as there will be other very dramatic goings on occurring at same time.
 
Not a lawyer here but I never heard of having to get the sanction of the hospital board to take someone off life support. Marlena developed sepsis and I thought they put her on a ventilator to try to get that under control. Days drags things on so and then there is a rush to take her off life support after what was probably a day and a half. Her daughter thought it had gone on long enough? I always believed the decision is between the family and the doctor. The family has documentation to support their request and the doctor follows that directive. The Board would only be approached if there was a concern after the fact and the family claimed foul.

She's barely on life support but they are going to have this going on two more weeks after she is taken off support?

Whoever is responsible for continuity in story lines should be fired. They are reckless and irresponsible. No clue what history goes with these characters. Belle playing the legal eagle when she works for DiMera (or did). They are some conglomerate that hired her because she is the best out there? Belle not caring about what her father needs and wants? She showed him no sympathy, empathy of any kind. Just a spoiled brat saying "Mom wanted me to make this decision and I have to do this". Marlena is in an induced coma and Belle says her mother wants to die. Belle's tears are so not even believable. BTW, tell your grown daughter to buck up and be there with the family because she is needed. John can use all the help he can get. Telling someone to go home and we'll let you know when it's over because you are shielding them like a kid? Puhleez. Claire needs a dose of reality.

I believe John and Marlena said the vows and the interruption came as Abe was saying "I now pronounce you...". In my book, that is a legal wedding. Such ridiculousness with this that I can't fathom they get paid to write such tripe.
 
Actually, Marlena was just starting to say her vows, or going to put the ring on John's finger, when Sami burst in.
Most viewers are very surprised that Belle wanted to deliver that paper so fast. Actually, they did bring in a specialist, john said that dr. felt it did not look good for Marlena. The hospital board was brought in because of Justin's request to be heard.
But I do agree, it should not be up to them, and as John said, who is going to sue them......Doc? Yeah, right, she will sue because she was not allowed to die. LOL
Again, things are happening at warp speed, only to move story along. The show is not going to have Marlena in a coma for months on end. (Tho they did so with Rafe a while back). With all the tears shed, arguing, soul searching, for the past few week, they have to move forward.
Belle working for DiMera company has nothing to do with her being named health proxy for her mother. However, her using her legal background as an excuse to force the issue immediately is uncalled for, and definitely not even remotely understandable.

Thursday September 27:
Sami searches for Kristen at the DiMera mansion and finds herself in a precarious situation. [Does this mean that the Salem cops still haven't gotten a warrant to search the entire place? If so, it's another act of unbelievable incompetence.]

Friday September 28:
Kristen bursts into Marlena’s hospital room, ready to finish the job. [It's good to know that Doc really didn't need that ventilator, but how did Kristen ever get into the hospital? Only in Salem.]

Kayla told Belle she would take her request to the Board. Belle told John Kayla was talking to the board. That was before John called Justin.

My comment about Belle being such a dynamic attorney did not mean it made her qualified better to be proxy. It's just Days does this with Doctors and Lawyers. They are always the best. You can't get better (insert term) doctor, lawyer than in Salem. It just seems weird that DiMera Enterprise would find a top notch attorney in Belle.

Just my opinion...
 
LOL, yeah, like poor Mickey Horton, who, it seems has passed on his losing streak to Justin. But then, the judges are usually corrupt, being in the pockets of mostly the DiMeras, plus Victor once in a while.
And it does rub one the wrong way when Salem's doctors are expert in every field immaginable. Diagnosis, surgery, illnesses, you name it, they are experts at it. But then, with only one or two doctors (lots of aides and nurses, but not doctors) I guess they just have to become experts. :) :sarcasm:
