SPOILER !! Week Feb 18

In her role as Commissioner she leaves a lot to be desired as she cannot investigate anything. Please go back on the force and leave the position to someone who can handle it..
Hope should be completely gone from the Salem P.D. She's shown herself to be completely unfit for a law enforcement position. And even if she gets over her Ben obsession, she'll still have all the bad habits that she acquired while working with the felonious Bo Brady. Instead of police work, Hope should tend bar at the Pub the way Kayla once did, join Jenny's moribund newspaper, or get a job at Salem University Hospital, which appears to hire anyone who's alive and breathing.

As for Arthur the cat, he was never seen, but at least once he was heard meowing his objections when Rafe went over to Jordan's apartment. Like Pookie, Arthur was never given a chance to shine. It might have made for good scenes if creepy Clyde had appeared in the Town Square with scratch marks all over his face, or Jordan had explained that she never made serious decisions before she consulted with Arthur. That said, poor Arthur must now be very disappointed in his mistress.

And can I just say I hate, really HATE it when Will talks of John as John, or his grandma's husband. Seriously?????? John has been around longer than Will has been alive and should have been calling him Grandpa his entire life.

Well John isn't Will's grandfather. He's Marlena's husband. Will's grandfather is Roman. While John is like a grandfather he still isn't one. There's something special about a grandparent and calling someone who isn't one when you have a perfectly good grandfather just doesn't feel right.

Am sure those with wonderful stepparents/grandparents might not all agree with that. Heck I have friends' children who have always called me "aunt". And still do tho quite grown up. Also cousins/ children of my cousins, who are actually cousins too......but call me "aunt" from little to quite grown.
It is a gesture of respect.. Nothing wrong with calling him Grampa John

As a grandchild who had a step grandmother and considered her my real grandmother, like my blood grandparents I respectfully disagree, Sarah Beth. Blood is not thicker than water in this instance for me and in actuality, was closer with her than my blood grandfather.

So the fact that John has been a grandfather figure in Will's entire life, I find it out if place, in my opinion and based on my own experience.

Poor Arthur is probably somewhere starving and avoiding his horrendous litter box that hasn't been cleaned. Jordan can't even think to wash, diaper, and feed Charlotte, there's no way she'd be going all the way home to take care of Arthur.
LOL! There's the way to track down Jordan, Hope! Follow the smell of the cat pee!!!

We all go by our own experiences. Will's grandfather is Roman and he is a good grandfather that Will is close to. I don't think Will is closer to John than Roman primarily because it isn't convenient to the plot over the years. Also growing up Will saw John and Marlena separated and divorced several times. So calling him grandpa would be a stretch. There's also the vanity issue with aging where few will be called grand/anything because of the muddying of SORAS and keeping the seniors as young as they can possibly seem.

Also going by personal experience having a sister refer to her best friend and her sisters as "sister" was extremely hurtful so I wouldn't give designations to those that aren't.
