The whore line doesn't bother me. It's a typical soap line. It would bother me in real life, but it's a cliche on a soap.
 
Sami is such a hypocrite. To have the nerve to be angry at Lucas having a problem with her and EJ after all EJ has done to them is rediculous. And so what if Lucas told her to 'move on'. She told EJ there was nothing between them and they were married in name only... yet that didn't stop her from being nasty-jealous about him and Nicole... you know... HER worst enemy!

And as for Lucas being angry and calling her a whore. Well... all I can really say about that is... if the shoe fits... If Sami doesn't want to be called a liar and a whore then don't act like one.

I agree with this. They are so childish when the argue. It is not a good side of them to see. I think EJ and Sami should be together and get Lucas with someone that is a little calmer.
 
I dont post much but always read the posts. I know that this is just a way to make a storyline more intense but it is so illogical. Maggie knows what is going on at the Dimera mansion as does Mickey yet they set it up that Lucas, who as much as I hate to say it, is in a fragile mindset right now gets thrown right into the thick of things. Why wouldn't Maggie, as his sponser, realize that sending him into a hostile situation is not good for his sobriety and have allowed him to come and stay with her, or one of the senior family members to allow him to readjust properly to the situation.

I wish, instead of confronting everyone that Lucas had of gone off to a quiet room to regroup instead of rashly arguing with everyone. I wish they had of let Lucas grow up and become a man during his prison sentance.

Lucas has a right to all this....HE is the one that has had his life stolen, his wife and his children....he and Sami are victims.....of Ej.
Ej is still sneaking around listening, planning all he can, he still is obsessive and possessive with his wants--someone else's life--it's all in a days work for him....he's still a psycho. And he is playing it so well...JS, I appreciate the job you are doing playing the psycho, you are doing it so well.
That was not romance....that was "scoring" on round one....a manipulation of Sami....again. She told him it wasn't anything but sex!! I don't like the dumb, weak Sami, that's always the victim of Ej....

John did say that....BUT...he agreed with Lucas....

LOL Practice makes perfect...maybe you can help Ej on his next hit. :)
 
Barb, thanks for a great recap today! Sounds like a really exciting episode! I will look forward to watching. I must say, though, that I am a bit shocked to hear Lucas calling Sami a whore. He's always had a bit of a hot temper, but even when lovers are mad at each other they don't normally go THAT low. At least my husband doesn't call me names... maybe it's the norm in other households.

ITA, Stacey!!! Where is all the promised changes to this WHOLE s/l, they have made Lucas a victim, too!! Ugh.

And....wish they had warned that we would see soft-porn in those scenes....teens are home from school NOW, don't understand or appreciate that that was shown. Why wait till they were home?????
I hate that they want fans to think that a mental or physical abuser can just "turn it off" and be safe to be around!!! Not what anyone that has been abused should see on TV!!!!! Nor, teens!!!!
They really ticked me off on this.....the s/l is unrealistic enough!!! There should have been a warning!!! Or, better yet....forgotten!
 
I just hafta say that it's always been Sami's pattern to want and need approval, so her reflex reaction to Lucas' insult was to try to get him to approve of her again, as she's done so many times. Lucas is her parental surrogate, so she has to make him understand and believe her. So she tried to convince him that she was justified in her behavior with EJ -- after all, Lucas had rejected her and she was convinced Lucas could not get out of jail for the entire 10 years, and he had told her to move on. EJ had convinced her that he loves her and wants the kids to have a 2-parent home, something Sami felt she was robbed of cuz of her mom's divorce. She feels powerful with EJ but doesn't realize she's playing into his hands (so to speak). Then Lucas comes in, shocking her, and he's shocked too, after being in prison and being so taken aback by his sudden release. I also think Will shot EJ -- all the more reason for Lucas to be livid when he returns and sees Sami & EJ together. After all he went through, it obviously was too much for him to process logically. Plus being in prison rarely makes someone less prone to anger ... I guess!

I also have to say that John is a riot! But even though he thought a "surprise" would be nice, I still don't understand how NO ONE saw it would be necessary to tell Sami that Lucas was on his way, and someone had a great point that Maggie should have warned Lucas that EJ was living at the mansion. And didn't they say if the ankle monitor beeped, he'd immediately be returned to jail for the remainder of his sentence, AND that he couldn't change his address? Sami could get a divorce now and send EJ away, but her ego probably won't allow her to do that since "he's Johnny's father." Well, legally she was married to Lucas when the kids were born, so EJ would have had no legal parental rights if she hadn't married him. OOPS!!!!!

Great job Barb!!!!!!! Thank you! It made it so easy to catch up after vacation!
 
Just want to say that I loved this website for over a year. I come here everyday and I never ever post. Today I posted for the first time. In my mind I didn't say anything out of line. I see other comments here that are far worse than what I said. My post got edited. :mad: Seems to me that the mod picks and chooses that is edited. Not fair!! :confused:
 
You know Lucas and Sami can't be "real" love. If something were to seperate my husband and me I would not be crawling in the next available bed even if it was just for enjoyment!!! (It makes for good tv though) But if my husband were to yell at me endlessly like Lucas does to Sami for any fault I couldn't live that way either. I used to think Sami and Lucas should get back together but the sleeping with EJ changed my mind and should change everyone elses. I think she belongs with EJ.:confused:

I think Lucas was always a victim of EJ as is Sami. IMO EJ is evil. don't get me wrong every soap needs a villin and EJ fits the part to a T. I love James/EJ, but diffently don't think Sami should be with him after all hes done to her and her family. Lucas has every right to be completely Peeved. Not that he should have spoke to Sami in anger the way he did, but she has said things to hurt Lucas too. I think the playfields are level with them.

A soap is all about inappropriate behavor on all sides of the fence. If you don't want to see it or don't want your children to see it CHANGE THE CHANNEL. I can respect the fact of not wanting Children/Teens to see "soft porn", but is was all over the spoilers that Sami and EJ were going to scrump.
Besides its not like they showed anything besides two people smoochin under the covers (no privates were showing) Although I do agree with you that it should have been forgotten, I hate the fact that Sami would stoop so low as to sleep with the enemy.

Poirot~ thanks for the write up and keeping us all updated. I've read lots of summarys because I work and can not watch the show often, but yours are more intense and discriptive than any others. You do an awesome job, Please keep up the good work. You are very much appreciated.

Don't feel like your getting "picked on", because Poirot only does what she has to to keep the PEACE. We all have the right to our Opinions, but others take things very personal.
Just try to word things in a non-abrasive way as to not start a "fight"

hope you stay with us and become a friend. All us DOOL fans need to stick together, even if our opinions differ.

MY GOSH! He told her to move on with her life and she did!!!!! So what if it was with EJ, it is HER life! When someone tells you to move on they can not tell you as to who or who not to move on with. Geeeezzzzzz!!!!

If I were Sami, I would ask Lucas why did he come over there? After all that time with Sami trying to see and talk to Lucas and he just blew her off and told her to move on, he has the NERVE to just show up and expect her to run to him makes me sick! As if nothing ever happen! That is just wrong! Why didn't Lucas go live with Kate? It is really stupid that the court would be okay with Lucas living in the same household as the person whom he shot.

ITA goulgirl. Thats what I was thinking when I heard he would be living with Sami and EJ. But I do think the EJ was pulling for Lucas to get out of jail so he may have "pulled some strings" to get Lucas out. Although to have Lucas living under the same roof as Sami, EJ don't have a chance of winning Sami over. Lucas will have to put his pride in check and forgive Sami for sleeping with EJ, then EJ can go smooch in the sauna some more with Nicole. :smile: At least thats what I hope happens. Nikki and EJ are :hot: together

Did you see how fast she ran upstairs to get the baby? What's with that! Lucas barking out orders to her and she goes running? Like he's a domieering male chauvinist and threatening to take the baby? No wonder she went running. It happens in real life. We had that happen in our family and we were really scared he'd do it. Thank God he left town and we've never seen or heard from him in over twenty years.

Why would the courts put Lucas in the mansion? They could have put him with Maggie and Mickey, or Kate but it's more interesting this way. I can't wait until tomorrow's episode. It should be a good one.
 
This was only a knee-jerk reaction from Lucas and when he calms down, he and Sami will discuss things like two rational adults. NOT!!!

Speaking of scrumping. Why do people call what EJ and Sami did sleeping? I've seen the word sex on this board many times, yet people still call it sleeping. Sorry, just find that so funny.

Why did they put him in the DiMansion anyway? I can't wait for Mama Kate to get involved in all this. I haven't seen her scheme in a while and I miss it. She's one of my favourite characters.

Can't wait until tomorrow myself! I want to see what EJ says when the convict tells him to move out of his family estate. This should be good...
